Monday, June 8

Eastland County Commissioner’s Court
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Eastland County Courthouse, 100 W Main St, Eastland
Regular session to conduct county business. Community members are welcome to attend.

Williamson Eastland Townhall
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Billy’s BBQ on the Square, 100 W Commerce St, Eastland
City Commissioner Joe Williamson invites community members to ask questions and share concerns.

Tuesday, June 9

Mah-Jongg Group
Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Location: Eastland Centennial Memorial Library, 210 S Lamar St
Meets every second and fourth Tuesday.

Middle School Book Club
Time: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Location: Eastland Centennial Memorial Library, 210 S Lamar St
Summer reading group and book-pick vote.

The Vine Addiction & Recovery Group
Time: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Location: The WoodBridge Church, 1418 Loop 254, Ranger
Fellowship and support for those fighting addiction and in recovery.

Thursday, June 11

Shuffleboard Tournament
Time: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: VFW Post 4136, 918 Hwy 570, Eastland
Weekly friendly competition at the Eastland VFW.

Friday-Sunday, June 12-14

Cause for Paws – 1st Annual Event
The first Cause for Paws event is a weekend supporting animals in need.

What to expect:

Unique street vendors
Local food trucks
Adoptable animals looking for their forever homes
Car Show on June 13, featuring classic, custom, and one-of-a-kind vehicles

Come shop, eat, adopt, and celebrate community, all for a great cause supporting your local animal shelter.

Saturday, June 13

Bake Sale for RMS Cheer
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: H & R Feed Store, 111 E Main St, Ranger
Ranger Middle School cheerleaders are raising support with homemade baked goods.

Sunday, June 14

Eastland Farmer’s Market
Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: 900 E Main St, Eastland (next to Maverick Stadium)
Home-grown foods, handcrafted items, and food vendors, weather permitting.
