At the 2:11 p.m. CST pre-release recheck November 2, the NWS Eastland County (TXC133) and Eastland forecast-zone (TXZ129) active-alert feeds returned no active alerts. This is a time-limited snapshot, not an ongoing all-clear. Keep official emergency alerts enabled and check current NWS warnings. Gazette checks are periodic, not continuous emergency coverage.
In its 1:55 p.m. CST regional forecast discussion, NWS Fort Worth expects a line of strong to severe storms across North and Central Texas this evening and tonight. It identifies damaging winds and possible tornadoes as regional concerns, with large hail also possible in discrete western North Texas storms. That regional outlook is not an Eastland warning or a guarantee of severe weather at any address. The separate 3–6 p.m. northwest-county graphic is not being presented here as a countywide Eastland forecast.
